The founding members began with food baskets in a garage for a few neighbors in need at the holidays. Over the years, Mid Lane Cares has evolved to serve the 475 square mile area known as Fern Ridge with eight programs. Our programs touch one in four families in our community.

Shower/Laundry ProgramShower/Laundry Program
Showers: For the unhoused every Wednesday from 9am-11am located inside the Love Project Food Pantry.
Laundry: Laundry service for the unhoused is located inside the Fern Ridge Service Center. Drop off is each Wednesday from 9am-11am and pick up is each Friday of the same week from 9am-1pm.Donations of shower supplies or laundry soap gladly accepted at the Fern Ridge Service Center 25035 W Broadway Monday through Friday 9-2.

Scholarships
The Jim Petty Scholarship Fund provides scholarship assistance to youth in the Fern Ridge area. Including the local Territorial Sports Program (TSP), the Veneta Pool, and the Applegate Art Guild.
